Our market town offers a variety of Afternoon Tea in Ulverston, Cumbria but only one takes place in a gin distillery and has the bonus of a mini distillery tour where you will find out all about how we create and produce our gin on site.

What to expect:

Hosted by the owners and distillers, Andy & Zoe, the afternoon tea is also created and made by Zoe. To make it extra special, Zoe uses the botanicals found in the gins to create the sweet treats and scones. Even the smoked salmon is marinated in Shed 1 Fancy Frolic Gin!

For this unique Afternoon Tea in Ulverston, Cumbria you are welcomed with a G&T, followed by the distillery tour and then you can relax in our stylish bar with views of Ulverston’s canal and the iconic Pepperpot atop Hoad.

Dietary Options:

If you are gluten-intolerant, we have that covered. Zoe has adapted all her recipes to be gluten-free and gluten-free bread is available on request. Also, we can cater for vegetarians.

This Afternoon Tea in Ulverston, Cumbria is served on pretty tablecloths, with vintage teapots and proper loose-leaf tea and cafetiere coffee from a local supplier. Shed 1 Distillery is wheelchair-friendly throughout and there is plenty of parking. For drivers, you can choose your favourite Shed 1 Gin and we’ll decanter your G&Ts so you can take them home to enjoy.
