You've Met the Makers, but how did we meet?

You may know that Andy's been a professional actor for 20+ years and has toured with Shakespeare's Globe & Northern Broadsides Theatre Company. You can also spy him in the odd episode of Cold Feet, Ashes to Ashes, Last of the Summer Wine, Merlin and (Zoe's favourite) as a tarantula and chihauhau owning tattooed heavy with a heart of gold in Tracy Beaker Returns! ?

Zoe spent 13 years as a Special Paint Finisher. Painting murals, stencilling, marbling (her favourite), woodgraining, tortoiseshelling and more in private houses, hotels, restaurants, Dutch barges and others. She was involved in decorating the green room when The ICC Birmingham(Symphony Hall) was first opened. Then, she went off to Japan as part of the The JET Programme, Japan for what was meant to be one year...Seven years later she was living in Busan, South Korea.

In October 2007, through a bizarre series of circumstances, they bumped into each other in Seoul, South Korea. Andy was there for 10 days with Shakespeare's Globe. Zoe lived 350 miles away!From that meeting, we met up a week later and then Andy went back to the UK. Zoe visited in the December and moved back to the UK in March 2008. We got married in May, 2009!

The moral of this story...We have no idea what might be round the corner (or in a bar in Seoul!) so keep your mind open to all the possibilities life has to offer.
