Shed One Distillery and Visitor Space is wheelchair accessible, throughout. All our experiences can be adapted for varying needs. You can read more about accessibility here.
Shed One is a small working distillery and therefore is not suitable for children.
Regarding our public experiences: Afternoon G&Tea, Distillery Tour & Tastings and Make Your Own Spirits, only over 18s are permitted. Babes in arms are at our discretion, via prior agreement.
For private functions, events and experiences, younger children are permitted. Please be aware they need to be supervised at all times. We do not have high chairs, nor baby changing facilities.
Artisan Workshops. Children are permitted to join artisan workshops at the artisan's discretion and by prior agreement.
Children may be allowed in the shop and bar when accompanying adults are buying products or having a drink, if there is space.
We do our best to accommodate dietary requirements; however, please be aware that there is only one menu. All dietary requirement need to be discussed when booking. We cannot guarantee alternatives on the day.
Shed One kitchen is gluten free.
The Afternoon G&Tea menu changes from time to time due to the season and ginspiration.
Vouchers expire after 12 months. We charge a £5.00 fee to extend vouchers (per guest) for Afternoon G&Teas and Distillery Tour & Tastings for a further 6 months from expiry date. We charge a £10.00 fee to extend Make Your Own Spirits for a further 6 months from expiry date.
Vouchers over 6 months after expiry date, cannot be extended.
For bookings on Artisan Workshops, you will need to liaise with the artisan regarding any issues with bookings.
How small is "small batch"?
We make about 110 bottles per batch. Due to this, during very busy times it may take a couple of days longer to get the product to you. We will always keep customers up to date about delivery times. When we are fully stocked we dispatch orders within 2 working days by 2nd class, 1st class or courier.
Standard: free; First class: £4.50, Courier dependent on order size-charged at cost via APC Fragile. Free postage with orders over £50.00
You can order online and then collect from our Distillery in Ulverston. Shed One is open to the public on Wednesdays & Thursdays, 10.30-4pm, Fridays & Saturdays, 10.30-7pm. If these days and times are inconvenient, please contact us to arrange collection. .
At this time, we are unable to deliver overseas. We hope to provide this service in the future.
We use Paypal & Stripe for online orders. Both use SSL technology, which is the most secure method. You don't have to have a Paypal account to order via Paypal.
If you receive an item that is not satisfactory please contact us here or call 07794699913 with your order details and we will do everything possible to resolve the matter. We may ask that photographs of the damaged or broken item be emailed to us to avoid the item having to be sent back to us.
