Cumbria Tourism Award Winner!

We are so proud and chuffed to announce that we are a Cumbria Tourism Award Winner!

At a ceremony that took place at Castle Green Hotel in Kendal on July 8th, we took the prize home for Experience of the Year. We were awarded this for our Make Your Own Distilled Spirit experience.

"The highly anticipated Cumbria Tourism Awards took place on Tuesday 8th July, at the Castle Green Hotel in Kendal. 260 of the county’s leading businesses, individuals and their supporters gathered to celebrate their outstanding achievements.

The winners of 18 awards were announced in the glittering ceremony. Hosted by inspirational speaker and record-breaking mountaineer Nigel Vardy, also known as Mr Frostbite.

The awards are a countywide celebration of the hard work, dedication and creativity of those businesses and individuals who are delivering exceptional experiences for our visitors. The winners were selected, following a robust judging process, for offering fantastic levels of quality, service and care to our visitors. As well as demonstrating business excellence in their digital and online present, product, marketing and inclusive and sustainable practices.

The majority of winners go forward to represent Cumbria at the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence in 2026."

Particularly as a small business, being a Cumbria Tourism Award Winner is not just encouraging and exciting. We feel it also helps potential customers take a chance on us for our experiences and products.
