We're pleased to announce that our Cumbrian Bramble Gin Elixir has won Bronze at The Gin Guide Sloe Gin Awards!
Cumbrian Bramble Gin Elixir captures the magic of an autumnal walk through the Lake District, where frosted hedgerows glisten with berries. Handcrafted in small batches, it combines succulent foraged brambles and locally-grown heritage apples, blackberries, sloes and damsons steeped in a warm, seasonal spiced gin.
Made with Heritage Apples, Blackberries, Damsons, and Sloes all grown in our friend's organic orchard/field. We start by distilling a spiced gin using traditional methods. Then, we take all the best of the season's fruit and create a lush cordial. Adding just enough sweetness to bring out the best of the fruit. This is then steeped in the gin, taking time for it all to combine.
Our Cumbrian Bramble Gin Elixir is then filtered through muslin cloth, catching all the pulp and pieces of spice, and leaving a beautiful, clear, ruby coloured spirit. Perfect for any time of the year, and a tasty festive treat.
