About Shed One
Launched in October 2016 by husband and wife team Andy & Zoe Arnold-Bennett in the market town of Ulverston, Cumbria. Shed One Distillery produces award-winning, micro-batch, craft gin and vodka.
We re-potted our distillery from our Garden Shed to The Old Calf Shed in 2019 and launched our gin & spirit experiences.
Always striving to implement environmentally-friendly initiatives, we've been awarded The Gin Guide's ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY AWARD in 2020, 2021, 2022 & 2024.
In 2023, we won Visit England's Excellence Award Best Experience, Silver, for our Make Your Own Spirit Experience and in 2024 we were proud winners of Cumbria Tourism's Makers & Producers Award.

Our Cuckold’s Revenge Gin was the first of our Lake District gins to win a Great Taste Award (opens in a new tab), one of twelve we’ve achieved so far! The judges described the botanicals as, “An interesting and beguiling blend of aromatics, soft and mysterious, delivering layers of citrus and spice with a lovely warming finish”. Read more
We only use the best quality ingredients and, where possible, we source these as locally as we can. For example, the chillies used in our Chilli Fest Gin are grown by local producer Erda Botanicals, and it’s great for those who prefer a little heat in their tipple. However, if you prefer your tipple to be a little sweeter, we’ve created an artisan liqueur made with local Cumbrian ingredients: our limited edition Christmas gift, Festive Bramble Gin Elixir is made with locally grown Heritage Apples, Plums, and foraged Blackberries. It's won a World Gin Award and a World Liqueur Award. Our Shed Loads of Love: full of lavender, rose, strawberry, citrus and just a hint of chilli, is the perfect gin to show your love and appreciation, and is particularly popular for Valentine’s Day and Mothers’ Day.
We haven't forgotten the vodka lovers, either! Our Quince, Pear & Sage Botanical Vodka is made with ingredients grown in the walled garden in our local Ford Park. In The Rough Botanical Vodka was created after collecting all the botanicals from Ulverston Golf Club, including cherry blossom, larch pine, daisies and rhododendron.
