Geli Plate Printing & Collage Making with Jess

Let's celebrate World Art Day with a very special afternoon at Shed One Distillery.

Come and join artist Jess Levine for a guided Geli Plate printing workshop.

This technique creates one off and expressive prints by picking up the marks of various textures which are laid into wet acrylic paint.

We will use a wide range of natural materials including leaves, grasses, feathers and flowers , to create exciting prints. These can then be developed into landscape inspired collage and mixed media artworks.

There will be art books for inspiration, and participants are welcome to bring along natural materials to print with.

Jess will provide a demonstration of the geli plate printing process and ideas with collage, and will encourage participants to develop their ideas with colour, composition, mark making and elements of design.

Plus, enjoy a welcome drink (alcohol or non alcohol) and a couple of art-inspired cakes made by Zoe of Shed One Distillery.
