Giggle in the Ginnel won Bronze at the 2021 World Gin Awards: Signature Botanical. Judges described it as, "Clear angelica notes on the nose alongside poppy seed aromas. The angelica is also dominant on the palate with a heavy dose of juniper and a little rooty, earthy note. This is quite easy-drinking and will definitely please angelica fans." It also received Highly Commended in the Craft Distillery Expo Gin of the Year Awards (2019/20) in the Signature Botanical Gin Category.

Definitely taste the hint of orange and I'm guessing the elderberry I had this neat, but this would be fantastic with tonic (or orange juice) for a really refreshing drink - great for the summer!

Lovely with Indian tonic and ice!

Of the 3 Shed 1 gins tasted so far, I was not enamoured with this gin, however, I think this was mainly due to its strong flavour of star anise which I felt overpowered the gin. Gin being fairly strong tasting spirit in its own right. It just felt that the mix of such strong flavours was too much for me all in all.

Tasted this at Ulverston's Velo Retro weekend just gone, many thanks lovely Zoe and Andy, and we both loved it. We tried it with lemon and elderflower tonic, but my whisky loving man probably preferred it neat. Working on other mixers for myself, like the idea of a twist of orange, but wow what a taste! It's warming like a whisky. Our local coffee shop 'Bloomfield Square' might try making a cocktail with it for one of their evening events.
